Today I woke up. Instead of saying to myself "I am going to meditate" I said "I am going to breath."

For all the cures, inspirations and affirmations that may help on our journey, I found this one to be most helpful: be here now. Rather than worry about the day, the week, the month, I vow to stay (as best as I can) in the present moment.

May all beings be free of anxiety and may the Gods bless New Mexico with no more snow.

Today, like every other day, we wake up empty
and frightened. Don't open the door to the study
and begin reading. Take down the dulcimer.

Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
